These terms cover your use of Turf, the sales and follow-up app for personal trainers, run by . By starting a trial or subscription you agree to them. They're written to be read, so please do.
Turf is in alpha. It works and we use it every day, but it's early: features will change, and some things may not work perfectly. We'll tell you about major changes before they happen.
The information you enter (clients, prospects, notes, tasks and plans) is saved to your Turf account so you can use it on any device, with a copy kept on your device so Turf works without signal. It's yours: you can download a backup file or erase it any time from Settings. During the alpha, keep your own backup file now and then (Settings → Data → Back up now). If your subscription ends, you can still log in to view and export your data. You can delete your account and everything in it any time (Settings → Danger zone).
You can cancel any time in the app (Settings → Billing → Manage or cancel) or from the link in your receipt email. Your access continues to the end of the period you've paid for. If you're unhappy within 30 days of your first payment, contact us for a full refund. After that, payments aren't refunded except where the law requires it.
You may store information about your own clients and prospects in Turf, including check-in measurements like weight and body fat (photos and scans come with the full version). You're responsible for having their permission to keep that information and for following any rules that apply to you, including your gym's policies about client information. Don't use Turf to store information you're not allowed to keep.
If a gym gives you a Turf account, the gym pays for it, and its owner manager and managers can invite and remove members. Before you join, you're shown the gym's two settings: what its managers can see (your numbers only, or your whole board, read-only) and what happens to your clients if you leave (they stay yours, or they stay with the gym and can be handed to another trainer). Those settings only apply to you once you agree to them, and if the gym changes either one, you're asked again. If you keep your clients when you leave, you'll need your own subscription to keep editing them.
Don't use Turf to send spam, harass anyone, break the law, or try to break, copy or resell the app. Your subscription is for you; please don't share your login. We may end access for anyone who does these things.
Turf suggests follow-ups and writes draft messages. You decide what to send. Business-plan numbers are projections based on what you enter, not a guarantee of what you'll earn, and nothing in Turf is financial, legal, medical or nutrition advice.
Turf is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem.
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Questions: .
